Decoupling a trailer

  • Make sure that the automatic transmission is set to position P.
  • Apply the vehicle's parking brake.
  • Close all doors and the tailgate.
  • Apply the trailer's parking brake.
  • Remove the trailer cable and decouple the trailer.
